Here’s what’s new!
1. His Brother’s Bride is set to come out later this week.
Late this week, His Brother’s Bride will be hitting the virtual bookshelves. This makes me both very excited and also very sad as it is the last Banks book I’ll write (for now).
With this occasion swiftly approaching, I’ll post my husband’s oh-so-helpful editing suggestions as well as a brief scene/excerpt this week!
2. RT is swiftly approaching and I’d LOVE to see you there!
May 1-5 I will be in Kansas City for the RT Booklovers Convention. Come find me in Club RT on Weds. May 1st from 1-1:30pm or Thursday May 2nd from 2 to 2:30; or at the Indie Expo on Thursday May 2nd from 4 to 6pm. I will be signing books and giving away lots of nifty things so come see me! I also have something else in the works, so if you plan to go, drop me a line and I’ll let you know what I’m scheming when I have more concrete details!
3. Buy a Groom and help a cause!
Starting on May 1st, Brenda Novak will start an auction that will benefit diabetes. This year, I have donated my entire Groom Series in paperback form (signed, of course) along with a writing quill, ink pot, a wax seal and wax, notecards and swag. The starting bid is $3.00, with all the proceeds going to help find a cure for diabetes. 4. His Yankee Bride is almost an audiobook!
My narrator has only five chapters remaining before she’s completed with His Yankee Bride. It’ll be completed early next week and be on sale hopefully by the end of April or beginning of May.
After this book, the next one that should be available will be Her Sudden Groom coming in May or early June.

I listened to the audio. Makes me want to read the book again, read not listen. I never go away long enough for audio…although maybe I could work on the computer while listening. Nah, my mind isn’t that multi-purpose 🙂
LOL I can’t listen to the audio and do work, either. I can multitask in other ways, and can even listen to music while I write, but I can’t listen to one story and write another.

I would like to see Marjorie Reynolds’ story. There seems to be an air of mystery around her and I would like to see the whole story of how her family got to where they are (in terms of going from wealthy to poor) and her history with Gabriel.
I have and I forgot to make one other (rather important) announcement. *sigh*
I started writing that story last July, but stopped at about 2,000 words because I really needed to finish the books I’d already promised before tackling that one.
I wish I was able to come see you in KC, but work won’t let that happen. Boo. 😦
As far as secondary character stories, I would be curious about Olivia’s child’s story (the one adopted by Marcus and Emma). Not really a secondary character but I wonder what his reaction to his real mother would be!
Although, the other suggestion of Marjorie is a great one.

You’re not the only one who has wanted to see Jack (Olivia’s son) get his story. It’s a possibility, and would certainly open up the possibility to a whole new generation of the Banks family.
I’m with Heather on Marjorie and Gabriel’s Story. But I also would not mind Henrietta story to find out why why she seems so listless.
I do have to wonder why everyone thinks Gabriel and Marjorie would make a match. Perhaps, they could each find their own…
Yeah, there’s something going on with Henrietta. What it is, though, I don’t know.
I have already purchased this Collection, and have finished Marcus and Emma’s story, and am half way through To Walk in the Sun. I didn’t realize when I got it that I had already purchased two of the three stories that are the companions to Marcus and Emma’s story, the only one I haven’t yet read is the last one. Not sure how I missed that Marcus and Emma adopted Olivia’s baby. As for a story, I think Olivia should fall in love with her blacksmith. It would serve her right.
Ha! Olivia truly deserves an awful fate.
In Her Secondhand Groom she has her child that Marcus and Emma adopt, then she has to go live at the asylum. So…unless she breaks out or finds love in there, I’ve written myself into a tight spot with her.
That is so cool about that auction. I wonder if I would help more by donating something to them or by bidding on stuff. Or both! Since I found out I had diabetes, this is kind of close to my heart. My mom and both grandmothers had it. I feel so sorry for those with Type 1 diabetes, because that can’t be controlled with diet. They are insulin dependent, often at a very young age. That will be their life unless a cure is found.
You can still donate things.
Although, like you, I’d probably do more good bidding on other items, too. LOL
Bob and I are planning to do a 70 mile bike ride to raise money diabetes this June. I’m fairly certain that will bring in more money for the cause than my donation to this auction. *grin*
I would love to hear more about Marjorie! I think the story of her and Gabriel getting together (because you know they would) would be awesome! If not her then I agree again about Jack or any of the the Ramsey girls, I think they would be a great little series.
Strangely, I’d never thought about Patrick’s girls as adults. Could you imagine the fits they’d give him during their Seasons!
Jack seems more popular than I thought he’d be. I’m rather surprised. I’ll keep thinking on it.
Of course we want Olivia’s ENTIRE story, including that of her son.

I’d like to read the back story about Elizabeth, Andrew’s mom, because that info about her background sounds fascinating.
Ironically, I started writing this story once, too. I will admit though that I stopped just a few thousand words in because I was concerned that people wouldn’t want to read about a 50-something year old woman finding love (and being intimate).
I thought I left a comment here yesterday but obviously it didn’t post. It wasn’t important, just that I was a little scared of what you were scheming for RT. Not sure about who I would want to read about. Elizabeth would have been nice but agree with what you said about it. It would have been a good secondary story mixed into another one of your books. I’ve seen that done a lot with the parents of characters before.

In the story that I started for Elizabeth, it’s more of a “story after the story” for my first series in which she falls in love.
I know I’m late for the giveaway but still I want to say that I’ve always wanted to read the story of Juliet’s sister from “Her Secondhand Groom”. Rose, I think that you owe all of your fans an exclusive story of “Lady O”. Don’t you?
Why is everyone obsessed with Lady O? LOL I have no idea how I could even begin to redeem that lady–but ideas are there, I guess.
